TISH jewelry, believe it or not, started in 2016 as a hobby after founder Lateisha moved from Hamilton to Calgary for a work opportunity. Lateisha initially started designing pieces as a creative outlet, and made pieces to wear to her corporate job. After a positive response from coworkers and family, TISH jewelry was born February 2016.
Here at TISH jewelry it's all about designing and curating pretty & simple pieces of jewelry that can be worn for any occasion. A large focus of the designs use semi-precious stones and crystals, mixed metals as well as resins. We offer an assortment of classics such as hoops, rings and layering chains to add a complimentary element to our designs.
About Lateisha
Hi, I'm Lateisha, but you can call me TISH! I was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario and after struggling to find a job after University, I moved to Calgary Alberta for a work opportunity. This is where I fell in love with shopping at local handmade markets, and developed a true appreciation for small business. I thought to myself I love making jewelry and figured I would give the markets a try! I signed up for local craft markets, and the rest is history! TISH jewelry started on my kitchen table in my apartment and is now my full time gig! I quit my corporate job in 2020 and just a short year later I moved back to Hamilton to be closer to home and raise our family. I now share my TISH jewelry studio with my sisters in a beautiful space in our hometown.
I am the oldest of three girls, and am left handed. I am a wife and a mom, and juggle two small businesses! Fun fact, TISH is actually a nickname my sisters gave me growing up. This business is my first baby, and I am excited for each and every opportunity I get to share my creations!
